Teacher Appreciation Coffee Cart in Atlanta | Pace Academy Case Study

We Brought a Custom Coffee Cart to Pace Academy - Here’s What 150 Teachers Thought

When the Pace Academy Parents' Club reached out to book a teacher appreciation coffee cart, we knew this one had to be special. Teachers give so much of themselves all year long — this was a chance to give a little bit back, one perfectly pulled shot at a time.

Word of the booking actually came to us the way our best events always do: word of mouth. The Parents' Club heard about Sightline Coffee from the staff at Ansley School, who'd booked us for a cookies-and-cocoa staff appreciation event of their own. There's nothing better than a referral from another Atlanta school that already knows what we bring to campus.

A Custom Cart, Built for Pace Academy

For this event, we rolled in a fully custom setup designed around the Pace Academy community. That included a custom cart presentation and a menu built specifically for the occasion — because teacher appreciation deserves more than a generic coffee run.

The star of the show, though, was our custom latte printer, set up to print the Pace Academy logo directly onto every drink's foam. Teachers lined up not just for caffeine, but to see their school's own branding show up in their cup. It's a small detail that makes a big impression, and it never gets old watching people pull out their phones to snap a photo before they take the first sip.

The Menu: Something for Every Teacher

We kept the lineup approachable but special, with both iced and hot options so every teacher could find their go-to:

  • Lavender Latte — a fan favorite, delicately floral and smooth

  • Mocha — rich chocolate and espresso, the classic pick-me-up

  • Vanilla Latte — warm, comforting, and always a crowd-pleaser

  • Americano — for the purists who wanted their espresso straight

  • Cappuccino — perfectly foamed and balanced

  • Hot Chocolate — a cozy, caffeine-free option for anyone taking a break from coffee

Serving 150 teachers in just three hours meant our team was moving fast, but that never came at the expense of quality. Every drink was made to order, and it showed in the reactions.

The Reactions Said It All

This is the part of the job we love most. Teachers came through in waves between classes and prep periods, and the response was overwhelming. People loved the coffee. People were genuinely blown away by the latte printer. One teacher stopped, looked at her cup, and told us it was the best latte she'd ever had. No kidding. Truly.

That's the kind of feedback that reminds us why we do this. Teacher appreciation events aren't just about the drinks — they're about creating a moment where the people who give so much all year get to feel seen, celebrated, and genuinely delighted, even if just for a few minutes between classes.
